CALL TO ORDER

 

Mayor Van Minsel called the May 1, 2023 Special Council Meeting to order at 12:05PM.

It was acknowledged that this meeting was held on the traditional territory of the Syilx/Okanagan People.

Director of Finance Garry Filafillo presented the 2023 Financial Plan Bylaw and the 2023 Tax Rates Bylaw for first, second and third readings to Council.  The collection of taxes was reviewed along with the proposed tax rate for 2023.  The addition of raised taxation from other governments and services such as the Regional District of Central Okanagan and the Okanagan Library Board was discussed.
